This Premier League forward who is technically the worst striker on FIFA 18

He’s made 11 Premier League appearances this season and is considered an exciting young prospect at his club, but he’s nonetheless technically the worst striker on FIFA 18.

We are talking, of course, about Oliver McBurnie, the Swansea striker currently on loan at Barnsley. In reality he’s actually having a pretty good season, having scored seven goals for the relegation-threatened Tykes and made his senior international debut for Scotland.

As far as FIFA players are concerned, however, he is the least productive striker on the game. According to the Fut Bin database, he has been used in 68 Ultimate Team matches and has averaged 0.03 goals and assists a game.

With a 63 rating, McBurnie is not actually the lowest-ranked player on FIFA. He has simply been least effective for gamers, which is arguably their fault as much as it is his.

The second-worst striker on the game according to Fut Bin is former Manchester City youth player David Faupala, with Schalke youngster Fabian Reese coming in third.

Having kicked on well at Barnsley this term and with many at Swansea backing him to succeed with his parent club, McBurnie no doubt couldn’t care less about his reputation on FIFA. Still, for gamers, the 21-year-old is probably one to avoid.
